Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is of course a remake of the 1922 classic directed by F.W. Murnau, which itself was an unofficial adaptation of Bram Stoker’s legendary horror novel Dracula.
Nosferatu joins the Francis Ford Coppola-directed Bram Stoker’s Dracula as an Oscar nominee, with the 1992 film winning categories including Best Costume Design and Makeup.
Bill Skarsgård stars as the legendary vampire Count Orlok, alongside Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, and Willem Dafoe.
