‘Late Night with the Devil’ Actress Ingrid Torelli Battles a Shark in Survival Thriller ‘Breathe Deep’

Late Night with the Devil breakout Ingrid Torelli, “The Haunting of Hill House” star Michiel Huisman, and TikTok influencer Avani Gregg will star in Breathe Deep.

The film is described as a survival action-thriller set in the world of social media… but with sharks.

13 years after witnessing her father’s death by a shark in the Devil’s Triangle, exploration influencer Addy Frost (Torelli) returns to the fateful site wearing a replica of his vintage diving suit, only to face a deadly battle against a great white shark, a mysterious killer, and her own fears.

Principal photography is set to begin this summer on the Mediterranean Sea with James Kermack (Knuckledust) directing from a script he co-wrote with G.D. Wright.

Featuristic Films’ Julien Loeffler and Kermack are producing. Cornerstone Films is handling worldwide sales and will launch the project at the European Film Market in Berlin next week.

“The film is uniquely positioned to engage the next generation of moviegoers while delivering a commercially dynamic and visually stunning experience,” Cornerstone’s Alison Thompson and Mark Gooder said in a statement.

“Breathe Deep is an intense survival thriller with a unique directorial vision,” Loeffler added. “The claustrophobic perspective from inside the diving suit will force the audience into feeling trapped with our lead character and experience her emotional journey..”

Atomic Arts (Alien: Romulus, Nosferatu) will oversee the film’s visual effects.
