50 years after The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Allen Danziger is back with a massacre of a different kind in The WeedHacker Massacre.
Danziger, who played Jerry in Tobe Hooper‘s 1974 classic, co-created the new horror-comedy with writer Ray Spivey. He also appears in the movie as Sheriff Danzinshoos and serves as executive producer.
In the meta slasher, the cast and crew of The WeedHacker Massacre boldly attempt to film their movie where a series of gruesome unsolved murders occurred 10 years ago. Bad acting, bounced payroll checks, and the masked killer’s return threaten what is surely to become their worst movie ever.
Directed by stunt performer Jody Stelzig (Splinter, Time Trap), the film stars David Treviño, Molly Sakonchick, Bobbie Grace (“Fear the Walking Dead”), Sean Reyna, and Parrish Randall (Circus of the Dead).
Currently seeking distribution, The WeedHacker Massacre will premiere at the Golden State Film Festival on February 20 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
