The star of the most recent installment in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, Sarah Yarkin will lead the cast of psychological thriller The Silence Game, Deadline reports.
Nicholas Cirillo (Outer Banks) has also signed on to star.
The upcoming film from writer/director John Rosman (New Life) “follows a disillusioned young man who, after following a mysterious woman into a camp of outsiders, falls under the influence of a charismatic leader preaching virtue in The Silence Game, an unnerving game with simple but terrifying rules.
“As the ideology takes a darker turn, he must grapple with its intoxicating philosophy before it spirals into something far more sinister.”
The film is produced by T. Justin Ross (Aporia).
In addition to Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022), Sarah Yarkin also appeared in Happy Death Day 2U, as well as the TV shows “Motherland: Fort Salem” and “School Spirits.”
Nicholas Cirillo, meanwhile, has appeared in “Stranger Things,” “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” and “Poker Face,” and will next be seen in the upcoming seventh season of “Black Mirror.”
