Production has wrapped in Australia on Sam Raimi‘s Send Help, due out in theaters on January 30, 2026 from 20th Century Studios.
The survival horror-thriller follows two colleagues who survive a deadly plane crash. Stranded on a desert island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.
Rachel McAdams (Doctor Strange) and Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) star with Dennis Haysbert (“24”) and Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians).
Described as a cross between Misery and Castaway, the script was written by Damian Shannon & Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th).
Bill Pope — whose previous collaborations with Raimi include Darkman, Army of Darkness, Spider-Man 2, and Spider-Man 3 — serves as director of photography.
Raimi also produces alongside Zainab Azizi under Raimi Productions.
