Mexican filmmaker Emilio Portes (Belzebuth) is back this year with new horror movie Don’t Leave the Kids Alone, and Variety has debuted a first look teaser trailer today (below).
This one has shades of Kyle Edward Ball’s viral hit Skinamarink, an experimental nightmare that managed to scare up an impressive $2 million at the box office back in 2023.

José Sefami and Juan Pablo Velasco also star in Don’t Leave the Kids Alone.

The film will have its Mexican premiere at the Guadalajara Film Festival in June.
