The revenge comedy is written and directed by actor Shane Brady (The Endless, Synchronic).
Chandler Riggs (“The Walking Dead”), Owen Atlas (Little Evil), Collin Thompson, Katelyn Nacon (“The Walking Dead”), Richard Riehle (Hatchet), Augie Duke (“Mayans M.C.”), Mia Castillo, Brittney Escalante (“9-1-1 Lonestar”), Glenn Stanton (“The Walking Dead”), and Hugh Scott (Deadpool) star.
The Rumble family’s dream of buying their first home turns into a nightmare when Florida’s most elusive hacker, known only as The Chameleon, steals their life savings. But this hacker messed with the wrong family. The banking system failed them. The police won’t help.
Furious and desperate, they plot a revenge-fueled takedown of the hacker, determined to make him pay for every life he’s destroyed. What started as a financial tragedy soon spirals into a fast-paced, darkly comedic adventure to reclaim their money—and their dignity.
The film features music by Grammy-nominated post-hardcore act Underoath and a score composed by the band’s keyboardist, Chris Dudley.
Currently on the festival circuit, Hacked will screen at the Chattanooga Film Festival on June 21 and will have its Los Angeles premiere on June 25 at Laemmle Noho 7.
