New Thai Zombie Horror ZIAM, Gothic werewolf film THE CURSED, and a whole lotta JAWS fill July with first class frights
What does July have in store for the best horror movies on Netflix? Some really great things. First of all, for the 50th anniversary of the greatest shark film ever made, the streamer has made all four of the movies in the Jaws series available if you want to cool down and float in the pool while watching killer sharks for hours. If you don't want to float in any bodies of water while watching any Jaws film, it's totally understandable.
For zombie fans, the streaming premiere of the Thai undead apocalypse film Ziam is also on tap for this month. It is always exciting to see a different culture's take on the zombie myth and the requisite scares, bearing in mind that some of the best living dead films have come from international films like South Korea's Train to Busan and Taiwan's fearsome The Sadness which is even more multicultural since the writer and director is actually Canadian.
Also, the streamer has brought back a gem of a werewolf movie in The Cursed. Formerly known as Eight For Silver, the English/French co-production with tons of style has scenes of sincerely disturbing bloodletting and terror in it. If you're one of those horror fans always looking for a good werewolf movie, give it a try.
