Meet The Characters Embarking On THE LONG WALK In New Posters For Stephen King Adaptation
Francis Lawrence's dystopian horror hits theaters on September 12.

Francis Lawrence's The Long Walk begins theatrically on September 12, with Lionsgate today revealing some brand new posters and bios of the unlucky characters who make up the dystopian Stephen King adaptation.
Directed by The Hunger Games and Constanine helmer Lawrence and written by JT Mollner (Strange Darling), The Long Walk highlights six young men in a dystopian alternate version of the United States, where every year a group of men compete to walk the farthest, until only one of them is left. The twist? If you stop walking, you die.
Starring are Cooper Hoffman (Licorice Pizza), Charlie Plummer (Spontaneous), Judy Greer (Jurassic World), Mark Hamill (Star Wars, The Fall of the House of Usher) and the newly FANGORIA Chainsaw Award-nominated David Jonsson (Alien: Romulus).
Attendees at this year's Comic-Con International can attend a special The Long Walk Panel on Friday, July 25th from 3 to 4 PM. The Hall H panel, moderated by THE KINGCAST's Eric Vespe and Anthony Breznican, and will include stars Jonsson, Nyuot, Wareing, Plummer, and Hamill, along with producer Roy Lee and screenwriter Mollner.
Lawrence's latest joins other upcoming King adaptations including Mike Flanagan's The Life of Chuck, The Dark Tower and Carrie series, Edgar Wright's The Running Man, HBO's upcoming It prequel series Welcome to Derry, an upcoming Cujo series for Netflix that might be directed by Darren Aronofsky, not to mention Oz Perkins' The Monkey that a was another horror hit for NEON earlier this year.
