You Can Now Stay At The House From POLTERGEIST (Creepy Clown Doll Included)

Fancy upping your Halloween party game by staying at the location of one of horror's most iconic movies? Now you can, as the house from Poltergeist is now open for bookings on Air BnB.
Located in Simi Valley, California, the house from Tobe Hooper and Steven Spielberg's 1982 supernatural horror sleeps up to eight guests, and comes complete with a pool, hot-tub, retro-preserved kitchen (perfect for stacking chairs), vintage TV set for maximum static frights and, the pièce de résistance, a creepy clown doll.
If you haven't seen the seminal Poltergeist, starring JoBeth Williams and Craig T. Nelson, may we remind you that the film centered on the Freeling family, who move into a new home (this one, to be precise) only to discover that it is infested with a horde of ghosts. After the ghosts kidnap their young daughter, the Freelings work with a parapsychologist and a spiritual medium to free their daughter and escape the ghosts. There's currently a series in the works at Amazon, and those heading to Halloween Horror Nights this year can be transported into the film with the official Poltergeist haunt.
Per the official booking page, your stay at the Poltergeist house (which debuted on the Discovery Channel in Ghost Adventures: Poltergeist Curse) can include “custom curated experiences with static-lit portraits, tours, movie screenings, or a night that feels… watched”. Gulp. However, the hosts do ask that guests refrain from getting up to any genuine spiritual tomfoolery, including no ghost hunting, séances or Ouija boards, which, given the house's reputation, is completely fair.
Head over to the official Poltergeist house site for more information on how to book, and check out some images of the place itself below (spot the clown doll!)
