New Posters For Guillermo Del Toro’s FRANKENSTEIN Confirm Theatrical Release Date
Despite worries that the monster movie would only be premiering on streaming, Netflix has officially confirmed that Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein will hit select theaters on October 17, before arriving on the streamer on November 7.
Starring Jacob Elordi as the Creature, Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, Mia Goth as Elizabeth Lavenza, and Christoph Waltz as Dr. Pretorius, del Toro's take on Mary Shelley's classic sci-fi novel has been a long time coming, with the Academy Award-winning director previously telling attendees at Netflix's TUDUM event that he “wanted to make this film before even I had a camera.”
In Frankenstein:
A brilliant but egotistical scientist brings a monstrous creature to life in a daring experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
Also starring in the creature classic are Felix Kammerer (All Quiet on the Western Front), Lars Mikkelsen (Ahsoka), David Bradley (Harry Potter), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth), Ralph Ineson (The Witch, Nosferatu), and Charles Dance (Alien 3, Game of Thrones).
