Osgood Perkins hasn't even released his third film in a year yet (Keeper is due in theaters on November 14), but the Longlegs director is currently in production on a mysterious new title called The Young People, per a cryptic new Instagram post from NEON today.

While plot details are firmly under wraps, NEON describe The Young People as another “bad trip” from Perkins, as well as confirm that Lola Tung (The Summer I Turned Pretty) and Nico Parker (The Last of Us) will star.

A sneak peek at the screenplay for The Young People (seen below) teases that something described as one of “The Old Ones” will be dropping its robe in some capacity, which could hint at some kind of cult mischief.

The Young People sees Perkins back with NEON as part of his first-look deal with the genre giant, having launched a new banner, Phobos,  alongside Chris Ferguson. Under the deal, NEON will serve as the home for Perkins’ projects, which he and Ferguson will produce. It will also allow Perkins and Ferguson to produce other filmmakers’ movies for NEON, who will release these projects theatrically in the United States and represent international rights.

Look out for more on The Young People as we get it. For more, here's what we know about Keeper‘s “disgusting themes” from the man himself and star Tatiana Maslany.
