New BUGONIA Trailer Sees Emma Stone Kidnapped By Jesse Plemons In Yorgos Lanthimos’ Sci-Fi Comedy

Yorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth, Poor Things) is back for another round of off-kilter genre madness with sci-fi comedy Bugonia, which gets a new official trailer courtesy of Focus Features today.
Starring in Bugonia are frequent Lanthimos collaborators Emma Stone (Poor Things) and Jesse Plemons (Kinds of Kindness), as well as Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone.
A remake of Jang Joon-hwan's Save the Green Planet! from 2003, Bugonia was written by Will Tracy (The Menu), and follows two conspiracy-obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.
Ari Aster (Hereditary, Midsommar) Bugonia produces along with Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Miky Lee, Jerry Kyoungboum Ko, Lanthimos, Stone, and Lars Knudsen.
Bugonia hits theaters for a special limited engagement run on October 24, before going live on the appropriately spooky date of October 31. Check out the new trailer, which sees Stone's head shaved to a dramatic rendition of Chappell Roan's “Good Luck, Babe!”, below:
