Exclusive ANYTHING THAT MOVES Poster Previews An Erotically-Charged Giallo Homage

All Jacked Up And Full Of Worms director Alex Phillips returns with his sophomore feature, the 70s exploitation throwback Anything That Moves, and we're bringing you an exclusive poster premiere today, courtesy of Vinegar Syndrome.
Produced in collaboration with Vinegar Syndrome, Anything That Moves stars Jiana Nicole and Hal Baum, with supporting performances from erotic film legends Ginger Lynn (The Devil’s Rejects) and Nina Hartley (Boogie Nights). Shot on 16mm, the “rust belt giallo” follows:
…nubile sex worker Liam who bikes with his girlfriend—his partner in both business and pleasure—through the city delivering snacks and divine satisfaction to his love-hungry clients. Meanwhile, a serial killer's gory murders are piling up and all the evidence seems to point back to the lover's bed…
Anything That Movies features an original instrumental score by Chicago-based artists Cue Shop, with cinematographer Hunter Zimny (The Scary of Sixty-First, Funny Pages) serving up plenty of lurid visuals.
In a director's statement, Phillips expanded more on the real-life inspiration behind Anything That Moves:
I used to deliver fast food as a bike delivery guy and I seemed to always get propositioned. And these weren’t only sexy college kids, this was everybody, all over the city. I was their point of contact to the outside world and for many, it seemed I was the best part of their day. So I started to imagine what it’d be like to build a business model on the porn cliche of sex with the pizza guy. What if now that everything in our lives gets automated and mediated–politics, culture, friendship–it’s up to these kids working fast food to deliver human connection? And then of course, in my storytelling, it goes all wrong.
Following its premiere at Fantasia International Film Festival and upcoming screening at Sitges, look out for more release date info on Anything That Moves as we get it, and check out our exclusive poster below:
