Here’s When You Can Watch WEAPONS At Home

Fresh off demolishing the box office and already potentially nabbing itself a prequel, Zach Cregger's Weapons is heading home later this month with both a Digital and physical home entertainment release.
The horror-thriller, which had fans enraptured with its mysterious marketing campaign, will be available to watch Digitally at home on September 9 on participating digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Fandango at Home and more, with a 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release to follow on October 14.
The R-rated Weapons, which stars Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, Alden Ehrenreich, Amy Madigan and Austin Abrams, follows citizens of the town of Maybrook, in which all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanishes on the same night at exactly the same time, leaving the surrounding community to question who – or what – is behind their disappearance. At the time of writing, Weapons has taken home over $230 million from the global box office, making it the third highest-grossing horror film of this year following Ryan Coogler's Sinners and Final Destination Bloodlines.
That Weapons has secured itself a physical media release is extra excellent news considering Cregger's debut, the widely-beloved Barbarian, has never received one, despite the director's own efforts. Both the Digital and physical media releases of Weapons come with a host of special features, including:
- Director Zach Cregger: Making Horror Personal (featurette)
- Zach Cregger unravels the intricate origins of Weapons. In this insightful exclusive, he details the initial sparks of inspiration that ignited the project, revealing how elements of his own life experiences found their way into the film’s core.
- Weaponized: The Cast of Weapons (featurette)
- An ensemble piece showcasing the stark personalities and combative dynamic between the different characters, as well as the motivations that lead them down the path of mystery, conflict, and death.
- Weapons: Texture of Terror (featurette)
- Maybrook, a seemingly perfect town, harbors a darkness that runs deeper than its charming façade. Tom Hammock, along with key cast and crew, delves into the intricacies of designing the terror that grips this unsuspecting community.
Scroll on for pack shots, and watch (or, more likely, rewatch) Weapons on Digital on September 9.
