Bone Lake is going all out to prove that it’s the sexiest horror film on the market, and definitely one you should leave your kids at home for. Bleecker Street has released the first minute of the upcoming erotic horror film, and it’ll certainly make you think twice about who you’re sleeping with.

Directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan from a script by Joshua Friedlander, Bone Lake stars Maddie Hasson, Marco Pigossi, Alex Roe, Andra Nechita, Eliane Reis, and Clayton Spencer. The film’s synopsis is as follows:

A couple’s romantic vacation at a secluded lakeside estate is upended when they are forced to share the mansion with a mysterious and attractive couple. In this darkly hilarious and seductive horror story, a dream getaway spirals into a nightmarish maze of sex, lies, and manipulation, bringing terrifying secrets to light and triggering a bloody battle for survival.

As if the previously released trailers didn’t give us an idea of just how NSFW the film is going to be, this new sneak peek certainly does. The sixty-second clip reveals a couple running for their lives in a forest, naked as the day they were born. While for an instant it seems like they might get away safely, both are quickly impaled by a masked villain chasing them down with a crossbow, featuring a final kill shot that’ll make every AMAB person watching feel it deep in their gut.

Bone Lake is produced by Jason Blumenfeld, Friedlander, Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon, and Jacob Yakob. The film premiered at last year’s Fantastic Fest in Austin, and currently holds a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes out of twenty reviews written about the “horny thriller” (their words, not mine) from the festival. It was acquired for domestic release in May by Bleecker Street, who’ll also be releasing Maika Monroe’s Victorian Psycho next year.

Bone Lake hits theaters on October 3. Check out the new sneak peek below:
