Death drop takes on a whole new meaning in Independent Film Company's new official trailer for Queens of the Dead, the gloriously queer zombie horror from filmmaker Tina Romero (daughter of the legendary George A. Romero).

Hitting theaters on October 24 via Independent Film Company and Shudder, Queens of the Dead stars Katy O'Brian (Love Lies Bleeding), Margaret Cho (Fire Island), Jack Haven (I Saw The TV Glow) and Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story), Jaquel Spivey (Mean Girls), Tomas Matos (Fire Island), Nina West (RuPaul's Drag Race) and Dominique Jackson (Pose), and follows an eclectic group of drag queens, club kids, and frenemies who must put aside their personal dramas and use their unique skills to combat the brain-thirsty undead when a zombie apocalypse breaks out during their drag show in Brooklyn.

Ahead of its theatrical premiere, Queens of the Dead is playing at Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, Beyond Fest, NewFest and the UK's Celluloid Screams, so we highly recommend grabbing a ticket if you're in the vicinity of any of these horror film festivals.

Check out the gory and glamorous new trailer below, and for more on Queens of the Dead, make sure you subscribe to FANGORIA before October's fall issue drops, which has Romero and friend of Fango Xero Gravity doing cover duties, plus more exclusive tidbits from the set.
