TRAIN: THE CONJURING Writers To Direct New Thriller Starring Frances O’Connor

The Conjuring writers Chad and Carey Hayes are set to make their directorial debut with Train, a new thriller starring The Conjuring 2‘s Frances O'Connor.
Per Deadline, plot details for the mysterious pic are under wraps, and Blake Northfield and Michelle Krumm are producing through their banner Bronte Studios.
Back in 2013, the Hayes Brothers' work on James Wan's The Conjuring helped to launch what is officially the highest-grossing horror franchise in cinema history, with this year's final entry into the series, The Conjuring: Last Rites, already nabbing over $330 million globally. Train star O'Connor joined the series in 2016's The Conjuring 2 as Peggy Hodgson in the fictionalized depiction of the 1977 Enfield Haunting in London.
In a statement, the Hayes Brothers, who also wrote 2005's House of Wax and had producer roles on Conjuring spin-off Annabelle, had the following to say:
“We’re thrilled to be making our directorial debut with ‘Train,’ in partnership with the incredible team at Bronte Studios […] After years of writing, developing, and living inside the industry, we’re excited to finally put all that experience behind the camera. This story has everything we love about our genre and can’t wait to bring this one to life.”
Northfield and Krumm add:
“The Hayes Brothers are known worldwide as the creators of some of the most successful horror films in history; now it’s their turn to direct. We are beyond thrilled to be producing their directorial debut and incredibly excited to have Frances O’Connor cast. We’re looking forward to introducing this film to the marketplace.”
Look out for more on Tran as we get it!
