Maika Monroe Is One Nightmare Nanny In THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE Trailer
Scream queens Maika Monroe (It Follows, Longlegs) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Final Destination 3, 10 Cloverfield Lane) fight it out for domestic bliss inThe Hand That Rocks the Cradle, the upcoming remake of the 1990s thriller which gets its first trailer today from Hulu.
From director Michelle Garza Cervera (Huesera: The Bone Woman), The Hand That Rocks the Cradle premieres on Hulu on October 22.
In the remake of Curtis Hanson's 1992 original, written by Micah Bloomberg and based on a screenplay by Amanda Silver, Winstead stars as Caitlin Morales, an upscale suburban mom who brings a new nanny, Polly Murphy (Monroe), into her home, only to discover she is not the person she claims to be.
Also starring are Raúl Castillo (Looking), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Mileiah Vega (Is He Real?), Riki Lindhome (Wednesday), and Shannon Cochran (The Ring).
