Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien need you to Send Help in today's first look images of the upcoming survival thriller from Evil Dead master Sam Raimi.

Produced by Raimi and Zainab Azizi (Locked, Don't Move), Send Help was written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, 2009's Friday the 13th), and follows two co-workers who become the sole survivors of a plane crash while on a business trip:

On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.

Legendary composer and musician Danny Elfman (Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, The Nightmare Before Christmas) is onboard for his eighth collaboration with Raimi, having also scored the director’s first two Spider-Man films, as well as Army of Darkness, Darkman, A Simple Plan, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Oz: The Great and Powerful.

Today's new stills, previewed exclusively by Entertainment Weekly, show McAdams as Linda Liddle, “the most capable, hardworking, and overlooked member of her consulting firm's strategy and planning team”, according to Raimi, and O'Brien's Bradley Preston, who Liddle has less than warm feelings towards.

Speaking with EW, Raimi expands on the characters and what ultimately drew him to direct Send Help, his first feature since 2022's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and his first genre movie since 2009's Drag Me to Hell:

“I found the two lead characters, Linda and Bradley, to be complex, human, and constantly at odds with each other in often conflicting situations […] The pitch was outrageous and original, all the while tracking these two in their conflict as their power dynamic changed dramatically. I knew right away that I wanted to direct this picture.”

Send Help hits theaters on January 30, 2026 via 20th Century Studios. Check out the new images, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, below:
