Pre-HALLOWEEN excitement is nearing its peak as BRING HER BACK and I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER scare their way into the top ten
It is a week filled with classics among the top horror movies on streaming this week. While there is one new film on the list and another that has returned after a brief absence, I Know What You Did Last Summer, the latest sequel in the franchise, and Danny and Michael Philippou's Bring Her Back, which has shot back up into the top five, most films on the list have been there for a while and fright film classics. Since Halloween is coming next week, it makes sense that fan favorites would rule the roost as fans get ready for the best time of the year.
Wes Craven's iconic Scream has also reappeared, much like Ghostface does when you think you're safe. It's a film that is stuffed with horror movie touchstones and horror film fanatics, so it is one of the best films for Halloween, even though it is not set during the season. The new classic vampire film Sinners is rising from the grave and moving back into IMAX theaters starting on October 30, so it may have an effect on streaming numbers for next week.
Things are getting even more exciting as we come closer and closer to Halloween. Now is the time to watch more scary movies.
