THE CONJURING: LAST RITES Sets HBO Max Streaming Date

Following its box-office busting theatrical run earlier this year, The Conjuring: Last Rites has set a streaming date, with the fourth instalment in the franchise hitting HBO Max on November 21 before its linear debut on November 22.
Directed by Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, The Nun II), Last Rites sees stars Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson returning for the last time to their roles as real-life paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren. This time, the pair are tasked with investigating the notorious Smurl haunting which was said to have taken place from 1974 to 1989 in West Pittston, PA.
Rebecca Calder (Wrath of Man) and Elliot Cowan (Foundation) also star as Janet and Jack Smurl, with Mia Tomlinson and Ben Hardy as Ed and Lorraine’s daughter Judy Warren and her boyfriend, Tony Spera, respectively. Franchise creator James Wan returns to produce, as does Peter Safran.
Although billed as the final instalment in The Conjuring series, which, with nine films including spin-offs like Annabelle and The Nun, has earned $2.7 billion globally, a prequel film directed by Rodrigue Huart was announced a couple of weeks ago.
To celebrate the streaming debut of Last Rites, HBO Linear will air a marathon of the franchise on November 22, with times listed as follows:
7:35 a.m. ET: The Nun
9:15 a.m. ET: The Nun II
11:08 a.m. ET: Annabelle
12:50 p.m. ET: Annabelle: Creation
2:43 p.m. ET: The Conjuring
4:38 p.m. ET: The Conjuring 2
8:00 p.m. ET: The Conjuring: Last Rites
Additionally, a 4-film collection featuring the four mainline The Conjuring films will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on November 25, and is available to pre-order here. For more, here's everything we know about the upcoming The Conjuring series heading to HBO Max.
