TERRIFIER Star Catherine Corcoran Just Launched Her Own Production Company
She's putting a focus on safety in filmmaking.

Catherine Corcoran is taking the reins for the next generation of storytelling in Hollywood. Deadline just revealed that the actress, known for her work in Terrifier, is launching FareStreamPictures, a new production company that will spotlight “bold, emotionally charged storytelling” from women and underrepresented voices, and put a focus on safety and transparency in filmmaking.
FareStream will operate safe sets, with intimacy coordinators made available when necessary, as well as transparent accounting in order to ensure everyone gets their fair share. This is an ultimately unsurprising move for Corcoran, who recently launched a lawsuit against Terrifier’s producers and its director Damien Leone, not only for unpaid royalties, but also for filming her sexually explicit scenes in the original film without written consent, as per Screen Actors Guild rules.
We reached out to Corcoran, who told FANGORIA this about her goals for FareStream:
“The most powerful stories come from the places we aren’t always encouraged to speak from. FareStream is my way of reclaiming that space. We’re building a creative home where transparency, dignity, and real collaboration aren’t exceptions, but the baseline.”
FareStream currently has a few projects in the works, including By His Hand, an adaptation of William R. Perry’s novel currently in pre-production, to be directed by Halloween’s Scout Taylor-Compton. They’re also adapting Julia Bartz’s novel
