Here’s Our First Look At Samara Weaving In Action In READY OR NOT 2: HERE I COME

Samara Weaving is donning that iconic bloody wedding dress for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the upcoming Radio Silence sequel to the 2019 horror-comedy, with today bringing first look images of Weaving in action alongside co-stars Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood and David Cronenberg (yes, that David Cronenberg!)
Debuted earlier today by People, the new photos of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come see Weaving back in the role as Grace Le Domas who, in the first film, survived a time-honored family tradition at the home of her new husband (Mark O'Brien), that quickly turned into a lethal game of kill or be killed. Also joining the fun this time around are Sean Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand and Olivia Cheng.
Plot details for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come are still under wraps, but speaking with People, Weaving describes the sequel as “so unhinged, absolutely cooked — you’re gonna love it.” Radio Silence, aka Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, tease that Ready or Not 2 “goes hand in hand with the first in an unexpected yet seamless way.” Intriguing!
The pair add:
“It’s exciting to see Grace into a new f—ed-up situation that deepens her story and her character, and we wanted to make sure that this movie wasn’t just more of the same […] We put a ton of love into this movie to make it a worthy sequel that we’re hoping fans of the first movie — and people who are getting to know Grace for the first time — will really love. We never dreamed Ready or Not would connect with people the way it has over the past few years and feel so honored to get to step back into Grace’s world,”
Also speaking with People, Newton, who is making a name for herself as a bonafide scream queen, says that Gillett and Bettinelli-Olpin wrote her character specifically with her in mind after they worked together on Abigail back in 2024, teasing that the character is “is a little like me” and can “causes some problems — but the fun kind, I promise.” Much like Sammy and her fuckin' onions.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come hits theaters on April 10, 2026. Check out the new first-look images below, courtesy of People.
