Plot details have yet to be revealed, but writer-director-producer Mercedes the Muse is aiming to create the “fowlest” movie ever — full of practical effects, twisted musical numbers, extreme gore, and unspeakable acts.
Troma founders Lloyd Kaufman (who directed the original Poultrygeist) and Michael Herz serve as executive producers.
The cast includes Sadie Santanas, Knotty Peach, Christina Von Eerie, and Vada Callisto alongside Troma legends Mark Torgl (The Toxic Avenger), Debbie Rochon (Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV), and Kaufman.
Released in 2006, Poultrygeist saw zombified chickens attack a fast-food restaurant built on an ancient burial ground.
