A spy villain takes their disguises to violent, trippy new heights in our exclusive new clip from 1960s Eurospy throwback Reflection in a Dead Diamond.

Watch the clip below ahead of the film’s release, exclusively on Shudder, this Friday, December 5.

In Reflection in a Dead Diamond, when the mysterious woman in the room next door disappears, a debonair 70-year-old ex-spy living in a luxury hotel on the Côte d’Azur is confronted by the demons and darlings of a lurid past in which movie-making, memories, and madness collide.

Golden Globe-winning Italian actor Fabio Testi (What Have You Done to Solange?), Yannick RenierKoen De Bouw (Loft), Maria de Medeiros (Pulp Fiction), and Thi Mai Nguyen star.

Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani, the filmmaking duo behind The Strange Color of Your Body’s Tears and Let the Corpses Tan, write and direct the action mystery thriller.

Cattet and Forzani’s fourth feature film premiered in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year and went on to play Fantastic Fest, Tribeca, and Sitges, among others.

Reflection in a Dead Diamond is an international co-production between Belgium’s Kozak Films and Savage Film, Luxembourg’s Les Films Fauves, Italy’s Dandy Projects, and France’s Tobina Film and To Be Continued.

Ahead of Friday’s release, get introduced to Testi’s retired spy, John Diman, as he finds himself in a master of illusion’s lethal crosshairs.
