Milla Jovovich Sci-fi Action Thriller ‘Worldbreaker’ Set To Arrive in Theaters Next Month

Director Brad Anderson (Session 9, The Machinist) will unleash creatures from another dimension in the upcoming Worldbreaker, and new images highlight an apocalyptic fight ahead of release.

Worldbreaker arrives in theaters on January 30, 2026.

 Milla Jovovich (Monster Hunter, the Resident Evil franchise) and Luke Evans (Dracula Untold, No One Lives) star.

In Worldbreaker, “After the Breakers rose—monsters that infect and twist their victims—men fell first, leaving women to lead the fight. Willa’s mother is one of the war’s fiercest warriors; her father, a battle-scarred veteran, hides with Willa on a remote island, training her to survive.

“Their fragile peace is shattered when a mysterious girl drifts ashore. Willa, longing for connection, shelters her in secret—until the truth emerges and danger follows. With Breakers closing in, Willa must rely on her father’s training and her own courage to survive.”

Brit-French newcomer Billie Boullet plays the daughter of Milla Jovovich and Luke Evans’ characters. Mila Harris (No Exit) also stars. 

The images below indicate the story centers heavily around a mother and daughter, and give nothing away in terms of monster madness.

The film is described as “pulse-pounding” and “about survival, sacrifice, and a young woman’s fight to step out of the shadows and into the war she was born to face.”
