Bloody Disgusting has exclusively learned that the indie horror production Your Biggest Fan has wrapped filming here in my neck of the woods on Long Island, with principal photography taking place in the town of East Hampton, New York. The upcoming influencer horror movie marks the feature debut of writer/director Eric Salberg, and we’ve got your first look.
Director Eric Salberg tells Bloody Disgusting, “The indie feature completed its primary shoot in late 2025 and will return for one final, story-critical sequence in early 2026.”
Your Biggest Fan follows Sophia, a rising online creator whose carefully curated persona “Lulu” attracts an increasingly obsessive fan. When admiration crosses into surveillance and control, Sophia finds herself trapped in a nightmare where being seen becomes a weapon, and the line between performer and prey completely collapses.
The film stars Cosette Hatch as Sophia/Lulu, whose digital persona begins to bleed into her cushy Hamptons reality. Hatch, a rising performer with over 30 vertical-format film credits, is joined by Anthony Jordan Robertson (Bel-Air, 9-1-1) as Theodore, the last line of emotional grounding for Sophia, or perhaps just another spectator.
Clare Kramer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bring It On) appears in dual roles as Joan and Pam, unsettling twin mothers whose presence signals a dangerous shift in the film’s psychological terrain. Judson Mills (Walker, Texas Ranger) co-stars as David Carpenter, a volatile stepfather whose presence dredges up buried trauma and escalating threat.
Salberg tells BD, “The project was produced with a majority-female crew, led by Executive Producer Linda “Lindy” Janota and cinematographer Hanuman Brown-Eagle, who leaned into a voyeuristic visual style using security-cam imagery, phone POVs, and digital distortion to tap into creator–fan obsession.”
“Your Biggest Fan lives in the uncomfortable space where parasocial connection turns predatory,” adds Salberg. “We wanted the film to feel uncomfortably close. Like the screen itself is watching you back.” Janota notes, “This was a production driven by a powerhouse of a female team, and that perspective helped shape everything – from how danger is framed to how obsession is portrayed. It’s a fearless, contemporary horror story that speaks directly to the cultural moment.”
