We have our first look at the “Game of Thrones” reunion between Sophie Turner and Kit Harington in The Dreadful, courtesy of EW.
Written and directed by Natasha Kermani (Abraham’s Boys, V/H/S/85), the gothic horror film will be released in select theaters and on Digital February 20 via Lionsgate.
“Working with this cast was a joy from start to finish, and of course, to see Kit and Sophie back together onscreen was a special thrill,” Kermani told EW. “Their friendship and chemistry is impossible to miss and one of my favorite aspects of the film.”
Set in the 15th century against the backdrop of the Wars of the Roses, The Dreadful follows Anne and her mother-in-law Morwen who live a solitary, harsh life on the outskirts of society. But when a man from their past returns, he sets off a sequence of events that become a turning point for Anne.
Marcia Gay Harden, Laurence O’Fuarain, and Jonathan Howard round out the cast.
