Much like Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, The Strangers trilogy has been assembled into a single film.
Bloody Disgusting has confirmed that a screening of the four-and-a-half-hour supercut took place in Los Angeles on Friday night.
It’s unclear what the ultimate plan for this version is at this time. There’s a chance for additional screenings in conjunction with The Strangers: Chapter 3‘s release on February 6, and it can also live on home video.
All three films are directed by Renny Harlin (Deep Blue Sea, Die Hard) and written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland.
Madelaine Petsch stars as final girl Maya alongside Froy Gutierrez, Gabriel Basso, Ema Horvath, Ella Bruccoleri, Pablo Sandstrom, and Richard Brake.
Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Christopher Milburn, Gary Raskin, Alastair Burlingham, and Charlie Dombek produce.
The Strangers trilogy was filmed concurrently in Slovakia back in 2022 before the sequels underwent additional photography. Chapter 1 was released in 2024 to the tune of $35.2 million at the domestic box office, while Chapter 2 made $15.1 million this past September.
