The stars of Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die discuss the “psychotic opera” in the new featurette below, where you’ll also find a new poster.
“There’s so many influences with The Man from the Future,” says Sam Rockwell of his time-traveling character. “Everything from Beetlejuice, Chris Lloyd from Back to the Future. He’s that prototype of the kooky professor.”
The sci-fi action comedy lands in theaters on February 13 via Briarcliff Entertainment.
Gore Verbinski (The Ring, Pirates of the Caribbean) is back in the director’s chair for the first time since 2016’s A Cure for Wellness, working from a script by Matthew Robinson (Love and Monsters, The Invention of Lying).
Rockwell stars as a man claiming to be from the future who takes the patrons of an iconic Los Angeles diner hostage in search of unlikely recruits in a quest to save the world.
Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chandhry, Tom Taylor, and Juno Temple round out the cast.
Verbinski produces alongside Robert Kulzer, Erwin Stoff, Oly Obst, and Denise Chamian.
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is rated R for “pervasive language, violence, some grisly images, and brief sexual content.”
