Writer/director Blaise Beyhan has set an all-star cast for his sophomore feature, New England Toys, with Willa Fitzgerald (Strange Darling) and Ruby Cruz (pictured below in Bottoms, The Threesome) tackling the lead roles, reports Deadline.

The story centers on two sisters (Fitzgerald and Cruz) in 1910s America who conceal the brutal death of an abusive husband, a cover-up that threatens their family’s toy empire and uncovers a dark, haunting origin of the American dream and the modern Christmas season.
Others set to star include Paul Sparks (The Lowdown), Jason Schwartzman (Mountainhead), Jim Gaffigan (Linoleum), Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), Paul Fitzgerald (The Residence), Asa Germann (Scream 7), William Sadler (Our Cartoon President), Dylan Baker (Happiness), and Becky Ann Baker (Ted Lasso).
Production is underway in Buffalo, New York, with Beyhan and Robby Gutmann producing, and Fitzgerald executive producing.
