David Harbour Boards New Reality Show Horror From GOODNIGHT MOMMY Directors
A HEAD FULL OF GHOSTS is based on Paul Tremblay's novel of the same name.
With Stranger Things finally over, it looks like David Harbour isn’t moving away from horror just yet. Deadline reports that the Thunderbolts* star has joined A Head Full of Ghosts, a new horror film from the directors of Goodnight Mommy and The Lodge, alongside horror maven Rebecca Hall and Esmé Creed-Miles.
Lionsgate had already acquired global distribution rights to the psychological horror film from Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, which is set to begin in March with the two serving both as co-writers and directors. Based on the novel of the same name by Paul Tremblay, the film’s synopsis reads as follows:
The Barretts’ suburban life is torn apart when their teenage daughter’s descent into madness becomes the subject of a reality show. Fifteen years later, her sister Merry faces her family’s haunting past with a journalist, uncovering the very nature of the evil that destroyed them.
