This Ultimate Size ‘Leprechaun’ Doll Is So Insane It Blurs the Line Between Real and Replica

The New York Toy Fair is underway, and Dread Central is all over all of the new horror-related action figures and other goodies revealed at the annual event.

Right now, we’re unloading all of the crazy stuff Trick or Treat Studios has revealed, and this Leprechaun reveal is just… I don’t have words.

What if you could hire Warwick Davis to come to your house, along with the entire Leprechaun make-up and costume team, and have him transform into the witty little trickster right before your eyes? And then, he’ll stand there in a display case for the rest of his life.

Trick or Treat Studios’ new “Ultimate Size Leprechaun Doll” is quite possibly the most insane collectible I’ve seen in some time. It’s so realistic that it blurs the line between real and replica. Seriously. Look at it. There will be only one way to get it: through Kickstarter.

The Leprechaun film series begins with Leprechaun (1993), in which a vengeful leprechaun hunts for his stolen gold, followed by Leprechaun 2 (1994), where he seeks a bride in Los Angeles, and Leprechaun 3 (1995), which takes place in Las Vegas as his gold brings misfortune to those who possess it. In Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996), the character travels to a futuristic setting involving a royal marriage, while Leprechaun in the Hood (2000) and Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (2003) relocate the story to urban environments centered around the theft of his gold. The franchise was later revived with Leprechaun: Origins (2014), which reimagines the character in a rural setting, and Leprechaun Returns (2018), a direct sequel to the 1993 film that follows a new group of characters confronting the creature.
