Ready or Not‘s Samara Weaving is ready to get bloody once again in the action comedy Over Your Dead Body, in which Jason Segel attempts to kill his wife with hilarious results.
Segel and Weaving play a dysfunctional couple who head to a remote cabin to supposedly reconnect, but each has secret plans to kill the other. It’s a remake of the 2021 Norwegian film The Trip.
Timothy Olyphant (“Alien: Earth”), Paul Guilfoyle (“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”), Keith Jardine (Love Lies Bleeding), and Juliette Lewis (“Yellowjackets”) also star.
The Lonely Island’s Jorma Taccone (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, MacGruber) directs the film set to premiere at SXSW next month before hitting theaters on April 24.
Over Your Dead Body is rated R for “strong bloody violence, gore, sexual assault, pervasive language, and sexual content.”
