Today’s the day. Paramount Pictures’ Scream 7 is now in theaters everywhere. While we try to avoid spoilers, the studio has released dozens of photos putting Ghostface on full display alongside all the suspects and red herrings. Who is the killer this time around?
In the latest installment, when a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
Josh Korngut posted his review for Dread Central, writing that Scream 7 has flames, but what it lacks is a spark: “Scream 7 offers up no surprises or real twists of the knife in terms of audience expectations.”
The film also stars Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Timothy Simons, and Mark Consuelos, all pictured below.
Scream 7 is rated R “strong bloody violence, gore, and language.”
Kevin Williamson directs from a script he co-wrote with Guy Busick.
