Cuddle Up with New ‘Obsession’ Still
We have a new look at ‘Obsession’ today, one that promises the ultimate “be careful what you wish for” horror film.
We have a new still from writer/director Curry Baker‘s (Milk and Serial) upcoming horror film, Obsession, courtesy of Collider. It features star Michael Johnston (“Teen Wolf”) cuddling up in bed with Inde Navarrette (“Superman & Lois”) and looking like he very much regrets his life choices.
With how uncomfortable Michael Johnston’s character seems, Baker appears poised to deliver the ultimate “be careful what you wish for” movie this May.
In the film, after breaking the mysterious “One Wish Willow” to win his crush’s heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.
Obsession also stars Cooper Tomlinson (Milk & Serial), Megan Lawless (Killer Rental) and Andy Richter (Scary Movie 2).
In his review out of TIFF 2025, Dread’s own Josh Korngut called the film, “the next-gen horror masterpiece I wasn’t prepared for”.
Focus Features and Blumhouse bring your new horror Obsession to theaters nationwide on May 15th.
