Roger Jackson, the voice of Ghostface in the ‘Scream’ franchise, will play Rabbit in new horror sequel ‘Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3.’
EXCLUSIVE: Roger Jackson, the iconic voice behind Ghostface in the Scream franchise, is now joining the Twisted Childhood Universe. Dread Central has exclusively learned that Jackson will voice Rabbit in the upcoming horror sequel, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3.
Jackson is widely recognized by horror fans as the unmistakable voice of Ghostface throughout the Scream franchise, including Scream 7. Jackson has also built a long career in voice acting across games and animation. He voiced the eerie Cheshire Cat in American McGee’s Alice and its sequel, Alice: Madness Returns, delivering one of the game’s most memorable performances. He also appeared in The Powerpuff Girls, where he voiced the role of iconic villain Mojo Jojo.
In addition, Dread can also confirm the casting of Josephine Blazier as the lead role MoMo, with returning cast members including Lewis Santer as Tigger, Eddy MacKenzie as Piglet, and Marcus Massey as Owl, while George Drogo joins the cast as Winnie-the-Pooh.
The film continues the expanding Twisted Childhood Universe from Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios, which reimagines classic public-domain characters as brutal horror villains. We can also exclusively report that production on the third Blood and Honey installment is confirmed to begin in April.
This time around, will direct the film. Chambers previously produced the first two movies and recently directed Franchise creator , who directed the earlier entries, will remain involved as a producer.
The screenplay comes from Richard Stanley, known for Color Out of Space and Hardware. The film will also expand its dark take on the Hundred Acre Woodwith additional characters such as the heffalumps and woozles. The tone of the new film is said to be darker, heightened, and more serious than the previous entries.
The growing horror universe is also building toward a major crossover event film, Poohniverse: MonstersAssemble, which will bring several of the franchise’s twisted childhood characters together on screen.
