Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Deep Blue Sea) is quickly moving on from his The Strangers trilogy to his shark attack film, Deep Water, in theaters this May.
In Deep Water, “A flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai goes down in the middle of the Pacific. After surviving the crash, the survivors soon discover they’re not alone, and they must survive the shark-infested waters.”
The film stars Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight, I, Frankenstein), Ben Kingsley (Shutter Island) and Molly Belle Wright.
We have the official poster for Deep Water, which puts its own spin on Steven Spielberg’s iconic Jaws art.
In a move that should shock no one, Deep Water has been rated R for “violent content and bloody images.”
Pete Bridges and Shayne Armstrong & SP Krause penned the script.
Dive into Deep Water when it swims into theaters on May 1st via Magenta Light Studios.
