Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy and James Lance have joined the cast of Netflix’s hit show, “Wednesday”, for season 3!
Netflix’s popular series based on The Addams Family, Wednesday, continues to fill out the cast for season 3.
Variety reports this morning that Lena Headey (Game of Thrones, The Purge, Laid to Rest), Andrew McCarthy (St. Elmo’s Fire), and James Lance (Ted Lasso) have all signed on to appear in the next chapter.
The trio joins previously announced new cast members Eva Green, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer.
Jenna Ortega will reprise the role of Wednesday Addams in the series that takes place while attending Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a killing spree, and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.
alongside Fred Armisen, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Billie Piper, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Victor Dorobantu, Evie Templeton, with Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Joanna Lumley.
Creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return as showrunners, alongside executive producer and director Tim Burton.
Season 3 of Wednesday is currently in production in Dublin, Ireland.
