The stop-motion horror film ‘Shrine of Abominations’ is getting a premium collector’s edition courtesy of Raven Banner and Bit Bot.
Bit Bot and Raven Banner have announced a limited edition Blu-ray release of Skinner’s Shrine of Abominations, the acclaimed stop-motion horror fantasy from the artist and filmmaker Ross Kennedy.
The premium collector’s edition (available to pre-order now) features an exclusive holographic O-card, created for fans of practical effects cinema, dark fantasy, and boutique physical media.
Financed after a successful Kickstarter campaign, the film is set within a dark and otherworldly realm shaped by arcane forces. On the cursed world of Orbus Kaal, Gar-Gnargorath tries to invoke the cosmic horror forms of Demotep to begin his universal plans of revenge and domination.
Shrine of Abominations draws inspiration from the legacy of Ray Harryhausen, Jack Kirby and the bold imagination of classic fantasy illustration.
