‘The Evil Dead’ Marks 45 Years with 4K Ultra HD Release This July

The 45th anniversary of The Evil Dead marks the return of one of horror’s most influential and uncompromising debuts, now arriving on 4K Ultra HD July 7.

Writer-director Sam Raimi’s visceral, low-budget breakthrough redefined the genre with its relentless pacing, inventive camerawork, and unapologetically gruesome effects.

The film follows five college students who travel to a remote cabin in the woods and unwittingly unleash a monstrous evil force hellbent on their total destruction. 

Decades later, its raw intensity and cult legacy remain firmly intact, now enhanced with modern presentation and an extensive slate of bonus features for longtime fans and new audiences alike.
