We sat down with ‘Carolina Caroline’ stars Kyle Gallner and Samara Weaving to discuss what makes this crime thriller different.
Kyle Gallner and Samara Weaving star in Carolina Caroline, the newest romantic crime thriller from filmmaker Adam Carter Rehmeier, director of Dinner in America and the phenomenal 80s summer throwback Snack Shack.
In the film, a young woman, Caroline, and a con man leave a trail of crime and passion behind them as they search for Caroline’s mother across the Southeast United States. Jon Gries and Kyra Sedgwick also star.
We sat down with the two stars to discuss the pivot from horror and what makes Carolina Caroline different from their previous work. Weaving recently starred in both Ready or Not 2 and Over Your Dead Body, and Gallner was last seen in Smile 2 and Strange Darling. Both were thrilled not to spend the shoot covered in fake blood.
