Amy Smart, Chiara Aurelia, Redding Munsell and Derek Luh have been added to the cast of the dark comedy produced by Zach Cregger, ‘Little One’
Amy Smart (pictured above in The Butterfly Effect), Chiara Aurelia (Fear Street: Part Two), Redding Munsell (At the Sea), and Derek Luh (Gen V) have joined the cast of the dark comedy, Little One, reports Deadline this afternoon.
They join David Harbour (“Stranger Things”) and Gaby Hoffmann (Field of Dreams).
Little One “watches as a sudden change in a child’s behavior threatens to tear a picture-perfect family apart.”
The film marks director/writer Alex Kavutskiy‘s feature debut.
Weapons duo Zach Cregger and Roy Lee will reunite on the picture as producers. With those two attached, I can’t help but automatically think of Weapons with the premise of Little One. I’m expecting a dark comedy, potentially revolving around a killer kid that’s unafraid to get weird. We’ll see.
Also producing are Chris McEwen (Love, Simon), alongside Amanda Phillips and Melina Torres of Soto Productions (Winner, The Assistant). Ibrahim Mohammed of Script 2 Screen will executive produce and co-finance the film alongside Chase Vigari, with First Take, David Goldman, Michael Learner and Karina Manashil as additional executive producers.
Alex Lebovici’s Hammerstone Studios financed the film.
Little One begins shooting this month in Los Angeles.
