The first poster for Don’t Move has arrived, offering horror fans their most unsettling look yet at the upcoming creature feature from Maclain Nelson (The Saratov Approach, Once I Was a Beehive), who directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with James Murray (Impractical Jokers) and Darren Wearmouth (The Stowaway).
In the movie, a giant, mutated spider traps a group of strangers in its web-covered lair, forcing them into a desperate fight for survival where making the wrong move could be their last.
The poster places audiences directly inside what appears to be a web-covered lair as a monstrous spider-like creature looms over terrified victims trapped in its nest. Bathed in fiery orange and crimson lighting, the artwork teases a claustrophobic nightmare scenario while reinforcing the film’s ominous tagline: “Whatever You Do… DON’T MOVE.”
The poster debut arrives as the filmmakers prepare for a pair of special premiere events ahead of the film’s theatrical release. Fans will have an opportunity to see Don’t Move early during a September 8 screening in Kansas City and a September 9 premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Both events will include cast appearances, audience Q&A sessions, red-carpet photo opportunities, and advance screenings.
Leading the cast are Lyndsy Fonseca (Kick-Ass, Nikita, How I Met Your Mother), Russell “Russ” Vitale (multi-platinum recording artist and rapper), Hunter King (The Young and the Restless, Life in Pieces), Joseph Lee Anderson (Young Rock, American Soul), Tom Cavanagh (The Flash, Scrubs), and Rob Riggle (The Hangover, 21 Jump Street).
Special appearances are scheduled from T-Pain (Grammy Award-winning musician and major social media personality with millions of followers), Brian “Q” Quinn (), and (, ).
