Back in April, we reported on a leaked Funko lineup that suggested DC’s wildly successful Absolute Universe was getting the Pop Vinyl treatment. At the time, the leaked list included Absolute Batman, a black-and-white chase variant, Absolute Joker, Absolute Superman, and Absolute Brainiac.
Now it’s official.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Funko will debut the first-ever Absolute Batman, Absolute Superman, and Absolute Wonder Woman Pop Vinyl figures as San Diego Comic-Con 2026 exclusives.
Funko is keeping the figures exceptionally rare. Only 1,000 of each character will be produced, with each figure priced at $40. Standing 4.1 inches tall, the collectibles will arrive packaged in a UV Premium Plastic POP! Protector and feature the 2026 Summer Convention sticker. Each character will also have a special chase variant randomly distributed to lucky collectors.
Here’s some wild new info: To combat counterfeits, the figures will feature Funko’s new authentication packaging developed in partnership with Octane5, utilizing micro-optic technology.
The announcement marks another major milestone for DC’s Absolute line, which launched in 2024 with Absolute Batman before expanding to include Absolute Wonder Woman, Absolute Superman, Absolute Flash, Absolute Green Lantern, and . The publishing initiative quickly became one of DC’s biggest success stories, with multiple titles reaching six-figure sales numbers and earning widespread critical acclaim.
