Cronin’s follow-up to Evil Dead Rise, fans were largely split on the film, with some praising the obvious Evil Dead influences while others (me) found the movie to be a complete and utter mess. Messier than the gore that fills the screen from top to bottom in the film.
In Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, the young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace—eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.
