Games On a Chair and indie publisher Pretty Soon have announced that Feed It will launch on Steam on August 17, Dread Central learned.
The psychological horror game places players in a disturbing symbiotic relationship with an insatiable monster. Rather than fighting the creature, players must constantly decide whether to feed themselves to regain the strength needed to escape or satisfy the monster’s endless hunger, with every choice carrying consequences.
Inspired by horror classics like Silent Hill and Mouthwashing, Feed It is designed as a short-form, replayable experience centered on exploration, environmental storytelling, and psychological tension. As players search maze-like environments for food, they’ll gradually unravel the mystery behind their surroundings while questioning who they are, where they are, who’s knocking at the door, and whether escape is even possible.
“We’ve been pouring so much blood and sweat into this game, and we cannot wait to get it into the player’s hands! It comes from a deeply personal place, and we sincerely hope it will resonate just as deeply with people. That’s our ultimate goal as artists, designers and creators.”
Feed It launches on Steam on August 17. A press kit featuring logos, screenshots, key art, trailers, and additional assets is also available.
