If you leave a door half open, soon you’ll hear the whispers spoken.
Netflix‘s poster for its upcoming serial killer film, The Whisper Man, is chilling to the bone, depicting a young child kneeling near a door’s mail slot as the title character’s hand eerily reaches through.
Based on Alex North’s New York Times bestselling novel, The Whisper Man, follows a widowed crime writer who, when his eight-year-old son is abducted, looks to his estranged father, a retired former police detective, for help, only to discover a connection with the decades-old case of a convicted serial killer known as “The Whisper Man”.
The film features a heavyweight cast of Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan, Adam Scott, Hamish Linklater, Owen Teague, Acston Luca Porto, and Will Brill.
James Ashcroft (The Rule of Jenny Pen) directed from a script by Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer.
Producers include Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Michael Disco, and Kassee Whiting. Marcus Viscidi, Tim Connors, and Alex Leb serve as executive producers.
Hear the whispers when The Whisper Man creeps onto Netflix August 28th.
