Horror icon and legendary guitarist Slash is continuing to expand his footprint in the genre.
Following the announcement of his latest horror projects, Fangoria shared a first look at Sundown, a new Canadian indie horror film from director Rebekah McKendry (Glorious, Elevator Game), which will World Premiere at the 79th Locarno Film Festival on August 13.
Sundown follows three generations of women who reunite at a remote cabin to avenge the death of a loved one, only to discover that the man they’ve captured isn’t who he appears to be—and that his family is rapidly closing in, waiting for sundown.
The cast includes Olwen Fouéré (The Watchers), Camille Sullivan (Hunter Hunter), and Summer H. Howell (Mike Flanagan’s Carrie).
McKendry directs from a script by Joshua Hull and David Ian McKendry, the trio who previously collaborated on cosmic horror glory hole head fuck Glorious.
